Plaxen Adler Muncy, PA Attorneys Named to 2021 Maryland Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Lists

Plaxen Adler Muncy, PA is proud to announce that Bruce M. Plaxen, David A. Muncy, and Joshua A. Plaxen were all recognized by Maryland Super Lawyers and Rising Stars. Bruce Plaxen was also named to the Top 100: 2021 Maryland list. All three have also been recognized as Top Rated Personal Injury Attorneys.

Super Lawyers offers a comprehensive list “of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.” Attorneys must be nominated each year, and inclusion one year does not guarantee inclusion the next. Only 5% of all eligible attorneys in any given practice area will be selected for Super Lawyers. Only 2.5% of all eligible attorneys are selected for Rising Stars.

• Bruce M. Plaxen. Partner Bruce Plaxen has been selected for inclusion in every Maryland Super Lawyers list since 2007. This is the second consecutive year he has been named to the Top 100: Maryland Super Lawyers list. In 2020, he was awarded the Wiedemann Wysocki Citation of Excellence, presented by the American Association for Justice (AAJ), for the fourth time, and elected Parliamentarian of AAJ.
• David A. Muncy. Partner David Muncy has been named to Rising Stars for the fifth consecutive year (2017-2021). He is the Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ) and of the Howard County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division. Earlier this year, David was elected Secretary of the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ), the youngest lawyer in Maryland history to become an officer of MAJ.
• Joshua A. Plaxen. Joshua A. Plaxen has been named to Rising Stars for the third consecutive year (2019-2021). In October, the law firm announced that Joshua will become a partner in January.
